Why LessonLingo

Built for real classroom resources

Most translators only swap the words. LessonLingo understands how lessons are built.

Formatting stays put

Bold words, colours, bullets, tables and layouts carry over, with text gently resized when French runs longer.

Text inside images

"Try This!" slides that are really pictures? LessonLingo reads them and lays French text right over the English.

Canadian or European French

Québec vocabulary and OQLF conventions, or standard French, with the right « guillemets » and spacing.

Notes, tables and more

Speaker notes, tables, headers, footers and footnotes are translated too, not just the big text.

Your original is safe

LessonLingo always works on a copy saved to your own Drive. Nothing is changed in the file you shared.

Download any way you like

Keep it in Google Slides or Docs, or download PowerPoint, Word or PDF for printing and sharing.

FAQ

Questions teachers ask

Is my lesson stored by LessonLingo?

No. Your file is copied inside your own Google Drive and translated there. LessonLingo doesn't keep a copy of your documents.

What about slides where the text is part of a picture?

LessonLingo reads the text in the image and places French text boxes over it, matched to the colours behind. Placement is very close but worth a quick look before you teach.

How long does it take?

Most decks finish in under a minute. Decks with many picture slides can take two or three.

Which languages are supported?

English to French (Canada or France) today. More languages for newcomer families are on the way.

Can I translate resources I bought online?

Translating your own copy for your own classroom is usually fine, but many licences don't allow sharing or selling a translated version. Check the resource's terms.
